romance signal
The data I wished I’d had when I came to publishing as an outsider. Checked, sourced, and free.
FounderDallas, Texas
I’m Mariah, a Dallas author who writes romance for the joy of it. I’m making the leap into self-publishing, and since my day job is in tech, I started building my own tools to get there.
This site began as my own reading and formatting tracker. It’s growing into a toolset for indie authors, starting with the hardest parts: getting feedback and finding your readers. Next up is courtship.
A note on “I” and “we”. “I” is Mariah. “We” is Mariah plus the small circle who make threnne better: early users who send feedback, officially or over coffee, and the people who help build and check the site.
Fandom runs on people making things for each other. So the tools that touch fan works, tryst and flourish, are free, forever.
Everything is free today. If a tool ever needs a fee, it will only cover keeping that tool running and supported, and you’ll never be charged for features you already use.
threnne started when I shared my own tools and people sent ideas and asked for help. If you need help, or there’s anything I can do, email me at info@threnne.com.
